Hello, I’m Pam Truscott-White, Ted’s partner-wife. I have trained in the martial arts, as well as the arts of setting limits, boundaries, my territory, and my ’walk’ since I was a teenager. I was not naturally endowed with a sense of self or family preservation. Withdraw and cry was my skill-set. I realized early in my life that emanating ’victim’ was not going to help me through this life and learning how not to be a victim has been a journey for me. My training in martial arts has been a part of that journey. My chosen profession, a Middle School teacher, has also contributed to that journey. Raising my own child, our foster children, and my step-children is another aspect of that journey. In teaching others, I teach myself.
